Cloud Armchair

Every chair in your house holds you upright.

This one does not. There is no frame in it to stop you, so the seat gives where a wooden edge would push back, and the hour you spend in it at the end of the day is an hour your body is not being held straight.

• No frame anywhere in it. No wood, no metal, no bar to find with your shoulder blade. The shape is the material, all the way through.
• Forty-four inches across. Wide enough to sit sideways with your knees up, which is how you are going to use it.
• It moves when you do. Nothing to unscrew, no legs to take off. Slide it to another room, another floor, another apartment, and it arrives as it left.
• A 3D spacer air-mesh cover. The open honeycomb knit used on performance seating. It breathes instead of trapping heat under you, which matters when you sit in the same chair for an hour every evening.
• The sofa matches, later. Two-seat and three-seat versions in the same thirteen colorways. Start here and add to it when you are ready.
• 100 days to decide. Comfort is not something you can judge in a showroom, let alone on a screen. Sit in it for three months and send it back at our expense if it is not right.

For anyone who has tried three armchairs and found all of them too firm, too shallow, or too upright.
